Food dyes (pigments), the same as those in candies, ice cream, bubblegum, etc. and polyethylene glycol (not to be confused with anti-freeze). The liquid fill in a paintball is non-toxic and non-caustic, water-soluble and made of biodegradable or naturally occurring ingredients. The liquid fill is encased in a thin gelatin shell.

Yes - the paint will wash out. It is a water based, biodegradable wonder of modern technology.

No,  Combine the game of capture the flag with chess, mix in hide 'n' seek, and add a large dose of adrenaline. Paintball is challenging and fast-paced. As few as two on up to hundreds can play. The basic game has two teams, each with its own flag station and matching arm bands. Each team starts at its own flag station. A starting signal is given and each team tries to reach the other team's station, grab the flag and race back to its own flag station. When a player gets tagged --hit by a paintball-- he/she is out of the game.

Frequently Asked Questions…

Yes. It does. But not a lot. More than a mosquito and less than, say, a sledgehammer. You WILL BE REQUIRED to use the safety equipment provided (this includes a mask, goggles). It is recommended that you wear something with long sleeves, and long legs. Remember, you WILL be in the woods - and it is full of bugs, poison ivy, etc. Wear what you would wear on a 2 mile nature hike! Some people wear gloves (like fingerless weight lifting gloves) to protect your hands (since your gun is exposed while shooting, you are more likely to be hit in the gun/hand). I would recommend some kind of a hat (keeps paintballs, leaves, dirt, ticks, and other beasties out of your hair).

Do we just all shoot at each other or what?

Does the Paint Wash out??

What is a paintball?

Paintball is one of the safest sports around as long as you wear the required safety gear and ensure all markers are choreographed to 300 fps or less. The majority of injuries are self inflicted rather than by paintballs, i.e. sprained ankles, bumps, bruises, scratches, scrapes.
